So I have recently stumbled across a reading challenge hosted by Crystal and Megan at bookstacksngoldenmoms, it is a year long challenge which involves reading books starting with every letter of the alphabet.
"The AtoZ Reading Challenge is a laid-back, year-long reading challenge. It encourages readers to choose a book starting with each letter of the alphabet."
I came to this challenge a bit late in the day and while I have already read more than 26 books this year I haven't managed to read one that starts with every letter of the alphabet yet, however I can certainly tick off some of them by this point!
There are also mini - challenges set as outlined below:
JANUARY - A book you purchased in 2020 but didn't read
FEBRUARY - A book with non-romantic love (siblings, parent-child, friendships) ✅
MARCH - A book written by a person of a different race than you ✅
APRIL - A book with an autistic main character (April I Autism awareness week)
MAY - A book about a nurse (Nat nurses week is May 6-12)
JUNE - A co-written book (2 authors)
JULY - A Christmas book (Christmas in July!)
AUGUST - A book by an Indie author (self published or independent)
SEPTEMBER - A memoir/biography
OCTOBER - A book written by a new-to-you author
NOVEMBER - A book outside your normal genre
DECEMBER - A backlist title (published before Jan 1, 2021
I am very excited about these mini-challenges! I may struggle with the May challenge with it coming to the end of the month and I haven't got a book with a nurse as a character! But you never know stranger things have happened!

So far I have read 18/26 books towards this challenge which is pretty amazing considering it is May and I only just found the challenge!! I also managed to complete the mini review for February with Minus Me which had a great mother - daughter relationship storyline and March with Talia Hibberts book Act your age Eve Brown.
I will update this page as I read more books, I'm particularly intrigued about what books I will find beginning with X or Z, if you know of any good ones please hit me in the comments!!
Oooh I might have to try this a-z challenge. It'll encourage me to pick up books on my shelf that I might be neglecitng. In fact, later today, I'm going to go through all the books I've read so far and pop them in their letters so I know where I'm at!
OMG wow! 18/26 books so far?! That's amazing! Good luck with the rest of your challenge! x

I read The Crowns of Croswald too!! Have you made it to book 2 in the series? What did you think of it??
I love this reading challenge. I've tried every year to get all the letters. I'm doing it again this year and so far I'm doing OK. Still confident I can get them all by the end of the year 😉 Looks like you're making good progress too. I haven't read any of the ones you have.
